whats this about?
How do ye think this will affect Rovers? Reported in the papers is that it will be
50% on the field success - 20% on this season, 30% over last 5 seasons
10% on Infrastructure
15% on Uefa License
15% on Sustainability and Future Plans
10% on Location
It looks like we will lose out on 30% because of the whole "over last 5 seasons” But we should score pretty good on every thing else. So over all this has got to be a good thing for us? or should we be worried?
whats this about?
well, in the past 5 years, we finished 6th 4 times i think, but then again we won the league last season and had really good attendances that year, and not bad attendences before that conisdering how we were doing in the league.
So if we get 25% for the performances
And 40% for the rest of them we should be sound
Just don't send Ollie into the interview !
we prob stand to get more screwed than any1 cos of the 30% for last 5 years but it wud be a disgrace if any current 1st div team got in ahead of us considering all we have going for us

Sure we all know Shams will be promoted no matter what, Dublin City should be sent down and it would be tough on UCD, no fans but stable club, if they were demoted.
There is absoultely no doubt that the final decisions will be contested in the courts I wonder what waiver there is when the clubs voted on the restructure.
i would be raging as were doing very well since Seanie arrived...
i think most of us would be ragin in fairnessOriginally Posted by SligoBrewer

its not fair (insert childhood fit here)
It's all utter nonsense. The only reason a team should be in a division is because they've played themselves into it. This whole idea of making up criteria to decide who should be up and who should be down is a joke, and goes against everything competitive sport is about.
