I'd imagine that going by the title of this thread he means the best women - something I would have to concur with.Originally Posted by BohsBohsBohs

Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
this is just great.
every mention of women and football automatically turns into a fcukin beauty contest.oh she's too ugly to be here. all rovers girl fans are class lookin.
either they are there to look at fellas legs, or there because their boyfriends bring them, or there to pick up men accordinhg to this thread
grow up lads
womens football is the fastest growing sport in the world
and yes they do add to attendences obviously
good quality football will attract more women
less hormone fuelled sexist chanting will attract more women
better facilities will attract more women
the implication that women want tighter shorts or breastfeeding facilities for the family conscious
is frankly a load of me hole lads
But alot of women do go to the games just for the men be it the players or the lads in the stand. It's just natural - kids (girls) these days........
Who Cares?!
There are quite a few female supporters in Turners Cross. A lot of them are genuine and a lot of them are their to get off with youngfellas. I'd say the latter outnumber the former, just.Originally Posted by wanderette

Honestly though if 20 girls come to meet fellas and one gets hooked its worth it. Club gets their money and a supporter for life. Not everyone that comes to an EL game is gonna love it and keep coming back- so by getting the most people possible to come(for whatever reasons) you've more chance that at least some of them will get hooked
I know I'm probably in a minority but I always like to see northern ireland doing well.Originally Posted by BohsBohsBohs

There are a good few girls that go to tolka frequently and who are actually there to watch the team play rather than look at the fellas in the stands.
I've been goin to tolka since I was about 3 and rarely miss a game. I think its more important to promote the league in general rather than to aim it towards one or other sex. The younger you can get the kids into it the better but it does mean makin the grounds a more family orientated place. ie proper toilet facilities covered stands for both home and away supporters etc etc.
for example, how many of you would bring your small children out to a place where they will stand in the cold, often wet grounds, have to pee against a wall and queue for half an hour for chips?
And even if you did, would your kids be enthusiastic to go back again the following week?
I know some of you will say your kids love everything about the EL and if I tell the truth, most Shels fans will have seen me with my 2year old at the odd match, but i just think a lot more parents would bring there kids if the facilities improved.
And if that keeps one or two more celtic jerseys off the streets sure isn't it worth it!!![]()

you are my sunshine, my only Sunshine......
[QUOTE=babydol]Well said Babydol....that is one thing that we try to promote at Mons...its a family environment with a comfortable club house where the kids are safe and there are ample toilet facilities. The one stand we have is more than sufficient for the "crowds" and kids seem to love the Mondogs! I agree that the younger you get them into the feel for going to matches the better and they are more likely to keep coming to games.Originally Posted by Raheny Red
I have always tended to notice that at Bray in particular. Also, I recall reading an interview with a fairly cute looking Bray fan in The Tribune magazine last year - I don't suppose you know her?Originally Posted by wanderette
