    The real football factory

has anyone being following this on Bravo quite a good little documentry on football hooligans , Hosted by Danny Dyer .

some absolute nutters out there , they were with the Burnley suicide squad as well as on merseyside and manchester . the S. squad are probibly the saddest bunch ive ever seen only about 20 or so of lifes losers dont care about the results or the team all are banned from the grounds they just go out every week to ambush the away fans leaving the ground .

i loved the line at the end when dyer said it seems to be about protecting there territory and being proud of Burnley .... but looking around i cant see why !!!

I watchd half the first one and the lot last night, god knows why. Its utter tripe. Danny Dyer playing the hard man act trying to big up hooligans. How pathetic were his efforts to talk up Liverpool v Man u, whiclst gesticulating like an ape, only for the man u fans to be safely escorted to and from Anfield without so much as a bad word had.

Have any of ya actually read "The Football Factory" book by John King?
Quality read and 10 times what the film was. Drink, Drugs sex, violence and the ocassional football refference everything a good book should be. #

Yeah I thought it was very good, kinda gives you some slight understanding of why people might do it

How true. I'm particularly p*ssed off that a large part of the rain forest has been destroyed to accomodate a bunch of illiterate, pathetic and mostly gutless c*nts' memoirs. One thing that f*cks me off is that when I open Amazon my suggested reading is this sh*te. I've never bought any of this cr*p in my f*cking life, but its there!

It has crossed my mind to put forward my own offering to this genre. Probably, more factual than the majority, even if the 'offs' I've partook have yet to fill up all the fingers of one hand.

Well I think number 4 my hand re my football dust-ups occured circa 1985, so the operative word is 'Was' rather than 'Are'. Then I grew up and stopped using said hand as my sole source of sexual gratification.

Agree 100% the book is completely different and about 50 times better. none of the psychadelic paranoia of the movie.

The TV show was utter tripe.

Presenter is a **** of the highest order - didn't ask one sensible question, just tried to fit in and 'agreed' with all their rationale.

Made a big deal about the recent 'meet' between Liverpool and Man U at the FA cup game - but then showed no footage or anything of any note apart from reverting back to 80's stuff we've all seen before.

Hoolies are tossers , the programme was mince.
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

well he isnt a presenter he is an actor so i wouldnt expect a great interviewer and he is probibly crappy himself going to meet a bunch of people that get their kicks from knocking the ****e out of strangers ,so i wouldnt expect a hard line of questioning .

they showed no images from the latest game because the cops did a briiliant job of keeping them apart ,its a shame you have to have riot police at a game of football .

ive only come across one group of hooligans Wigan !! again the cops had to launch a massive effort to get them onto the train and off home after the game
