The FA Cup Final was very entertaining apart from the first twenty minutes which nearly put me asleep. "Terrible defending" to borrow a phrase from Alan Hansen , accounts for some of the space the players who scored seemed to have in abundance !

Do we have to go through this again?? Can't people use whatever phrase they like?? He supports Liverpool and says "we" when he talks about them like every football supporter does. Get over it.

Fact is liverpool have won two trophies without winning the game.

Liverpool showed they are still nothing but a cup team (who win on penalties)

Liverpool have been part of 2 of the best games in cup competitions in recent years , won them both but failed to convince anybody that they actually deserved the wins .

Liverpool could only beat Chelsea and Manu in cup competitions .

Liverpool think they are better than they are and believe their own hype .
Grest game , but West Ham were far the better team .
    jealous are we?

    you're probably a manc lover.

Ex-manc no doubt, now that Chelsea have won the last two league titles. Anyhoo those that are bleating on about the BBC and their love afair with Gerrard. Its an English station and Gerrard being one of the players England's WC hopes rest on, its not at all a surprise that they go overboard on him. Sissoko did more in that game than Gerrard no doubt, but he's not English.

If you think that is bad, just watch a Madrid match on Sky. They way they drool over Beckham is absolutely stomach churning.

Except he made the same old mistake managers make time and time again when ahead - play 5 in midfield and 1 up front and invariably due to the constant pressure the other side applies they equalise.

Two great goals by Gerrard but I thought he was fairly anonymous apart from that in the second half in particular - mind you I'll take 2 goals from a midfielder anyday never mind the performance.

Amazing statistic that this is only the second time in 13 years that both sides have scored in a Cup Final .
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

I think Gerrard is a fantastic player and he certainly does the spectacular goals big time. But comparting Keane to Gerrard is not fair. Keane played a huge part in the UTd team that won 7 league titles. Gerrard has won none yet. In addition they both play two different positions. Keane was a holding player for the last 6 or 7 years of his Utd career. Gerrard should be compared to Scholes or Beckham as that is the position he plays for Liverpool Saying that a Keane in his prime and Gerrard now midfield would be fantastic. What they both share is a drive to win games and never give up.

Indeedy ! Gerry Armstrong with his "Beckhams the best player on the park for me" bullsh*t really gets on my tits. Real have won NOTHING since he went there, coincidence, I think not .....

    The Lord have mercy.

The most successful team in England at the moment (i.e. the last five years) are - LIVERPOOL.

    1 European Cup
    1 UEFA Cup
    2 FA Cups
    2 League Cups
    2 European Super Cups
    1 Charity Shield

Can Chelski, Scumchester or the Arse match that ?

    I don't think so.

Oh and what about the entertainment value for the neutrals out there.

PS That replica tin-foil wrapped chocolate cup that Barca won last night isnt the real thing BTW

There's no domestic league title included in that list I see.

    There's a European cup, which super-cedes it
List will be updated with domestic league title in the coming seasons....
