Stan calls Joe Gamble up ... thats the rumour anyway !!
Derry game might be called off, or else Joe would join the squad later on.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Republic of Ireland senior international manger, Stephen Staunton has called up Cork City’s Joe Gamble into his squad for the training camp in Portugal and the friendly international against Chile on May 24th. Gamble will join up with the squad on Sunday May 21st following Cork City’s eircom League game against Derry City next Saturday night in the Brandywell. Staunton made this addition following the unavailability of Liam Miller and Jonathan Douglas who will feature in the Championship play off final while Stephen Elliott has been withdrawn through injury.Originally Posted by A face

"It's time for the FAI to grow up." John O'Donoghue, Minister for Sport, RTE , Sunday 7 Nov 2004
good news both Joe and the eircom league, the more call ups the better
Any City fans worried on a selfish note that this could alert clubs in Britain to him?
Well, not really because he's under contract!Originally Posted by Poor Student
