There's been so many delays that I wouldn't trust even that deadline. Sony have really dropped the ball on this one.

just been speaking to someone in sony and they say it may not reach Ireland until next feb !!!

also they said that the 360 is better.

i cant belive some one from sony said the 360 was better !!! .

did any of ye see the pics from a ps3 launch they had to use a 360 to show the game playing ,just had an empty ps3 on display some journo spotted the 360 under the display

How would a 360 play PS3 games? Or even use a PS3 Controller?

it wasnt, it was a 360 game in a 360 its just a game due for duel release . it was only playing on a big screen you couldnt play it it was just for journo's to get there first look at it .

i use my ps2 controllers with my xbox for pro evo,it runs way smother than my ps2 version but the xbox controllers are terrible so i needed ps2 ones , picked up an adaptor for about 5 euro on ebay .

of course the sony employee was speaking off the record, they work in the record company so the games side of things means nothing to them. They were just speaking about stuff that was said at a social thing after a sony meeying they were at in New york.

i'll prob stick with the 360, a mate has a relation in microsoft so i'm getting the games for 15 squid so happy days.

I believe the launch in Europe has been put on hold til March 07.There is a shoratge of a certain kind of "Blueray Chip" that will allow it to be released only in USA & Japan pre Christmas this year.

Take heed as well, anticipated price is about 6-700 Euro

(according to Irish Times Journo on Radio)

So whether its for yourself or you have kids that will want one-start saving.

Yep Sony have offically put back the release date in Europe til March because of 'a shortage of supplies'. In other news Japan and America will get more than their expected quota.

Really getting sick of being shat on by computer companies as a European consumer. First it was Sega, than Nintendo and now Sony, I'm really thinking of just picking up a 360 now and PS3 be damned, especially at that ridiculous price tag

360 is an amazing machine and i wouldn't change it. although my PSP is making it rather jealous at the mo.

But March 07 suits me perfect, 30th birthday
