    Galway and District League 2004/05

Thought we should have a thread here - since the forum board was closed by the Galway FA on the www.galwayfa.net site I guess we need somewhere else to slag off Corrib Rangers!

And I am assuming that all Galwat clubs will come out and support Athenry in the final in Terryland! Or will the usual begrudgary prevail?

I hope we get a lot of support from the town sides , fair play to all the hibs lads that have travelled to our last few games, its always appreciated.

Good idea to get a thread started here so the galway footie people can air their views , its badly needed after they closed down the forum board.

There should be a good crowd in Terryland for the final, expect a good few United supporters to go up.

Athenryboy, apart from the lads who played for GUFC before (Keogh, Cronin, Mernagh), do you think that any of your squad would be in contention for a place in the United squad ?

jamie o'driscoll centre midfield. class act. looks a bit small but very strong. never seems to lose the ball. would be interesting to see if he could make the step up. hate to lose him.

How did Crumlin A & B fare in the league this year? We played them in a few challenges. They seem to have a nice set up. Was the pitch secured?
