yeah, agreed ... well done to both !!![]()
Really thought Sligo would give Cork a tougher game, obviously I wasn't at the game but the scoreline suggests it was no big challenge for Cork - well done Cork - good come back from friday nights result. Sligo you guys seem to be more of a home team type of outfit but still well done on holding Shels at the weekend.
Shamrock Rovers a good result but did Pats have their 1st team out (not being smart - just wondering). A bit of a stall in the last few league games but last night should give a lot of confidence for the weekend (who are you playing?)

Rovers played seven first team regulars. We also had our fourth and fifth choice strikers playing.Originally Posted by SeanDrog

I think 2-0 was about right,we played some really good football in the last 15 minutes of the first half, some of the best ive seen in a while and the second half was a bit subdued because the game was over as far as the result was concerned.
Fair play to Sligo for having the courage to come down and play some football![]()

Very strange to rest players when league cup can be easy route to the Setanta Cup next season.
was it not a league game ?
Think JOhnny Mac put a side out he thought would easily deal with Rovers.
He was wrong.
