I have to say Rams outplayed galway for must of the game. However Rams couldnt turn possession into goals and Galway nearly stole it at the death when a Galway player missed an open goal from 6 yards out with the goal at his mercy!

Talked to one of the club committee after the game who said the attendance was 350.
Have to say that it was a case of two points dropped, a little more composure in front of goal and the win would have been ours, the goal we gave away was terrible, a needless free conceded by Mucky and then Brossie never bothered to jump with the guy who headed their goal
On the plus side Gareth Cambridge had a fine game and Darren Murphy did well but started to tire near the end and he also tended to hang on to the ball to much trying to look for the killer pass, when he is fully fit he will be some player.

It was pretty even alright, although we created the clearer chances you could have stolen it at the end and Galway were always a threat from the many free kicks that Hilda awarded, you also had one chance from a shot which curled just outside the post in the second half, Robert Brosnan had a volley from about 35 yards which was inches over, (would have been a contender for goal of the season). all in all I thought it was a good game and a draw was a fair result.

Colin P was a bad signing we all new that. What I cant understand is why last season when Hendo had the chance to sign him he didnt as he said he didnt want to train or didnt have the right attitude, and then this season he goes and signs him.

I thought last nights game was a good game overall. The 1st half was really good. Rams started really well. I feel its 2 pts dropped from Rams point of view anyway. Anyone going up to the Shamrock Rovers game next Sunday?
