Quick match report

Bedham 2 - Sligo Rovers 1

They had the better of the first half and took a 1-nil lead. Sligo changed the structure at half time and and had the better of the 2nd half - equalising with a goal from Ross Higgins - but Sligo lost concentration for the next 5 minutes and they scored and Sligo had to chase the game to no avail.

There were 5 neasden gaels players and 5 Tara's in the squad. The team is made of 1st and 2nd generation irish lads from the Sligo catchment area. Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon. It was played under flood lights and there was a big crowd - just a pity the result was'nt positive!

Still the league is in our own hands!
