Stephen Constantine is the name you seek. IIRC he is one of the most qualified coaches in the world but, despite repeated attempts to secure a job at home, no-one wanted to know as he had no experience to speak of in the English game. (He's now coaching at Millwall, btw).Originally Posted by CollegeTillIDie
How insular is that? Still, there's a little number coming up at Soho Square and, after all, Constantine ticks all the tabloid boxes as he is English...

According to local newspaper, The Sentinel, former Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr is interested in the job at Stoke City following Peter Coates' takeover.
Supposedly also in the frame is Lou Macari, who is currently keeping a low profile in the area given the latest news.
But are Stoke interested in Kerr ?
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Does anyone know why Kerr was taking notes (ie. scouting) at the Man U v Celtic game?
yeah he was trying to look important but secretly he was doodling....

U21 Boss would be fine. Sure anyone would be better than Givens! In fact, give him back his original job in the under age set up.Originally Posted by wws
Probably scouting for somebody. I presume he was a guest of Keanes also.
