I think he has been deserving an opportunity for the last few years.

I'd love to see him pull on the green jersey again. not that I think Kenny should pick him. But if he did i'd be happy

Mr. Sheridan played really well and made a goal. A Jurgen Klinsmann kind of assist, classy pass, to level the match

the thing is, we havent scored in 7 matches mcgoldrick retired, Long injured, you dont have experienced guys to lead the line,
I love when a coach trust youngsters like Kenny does, but in some position you need experienced guys like Sheridan who played in many countries, is somehow quite mobile for his height, has a good scoring record, takes penalties, even if the guy doesnt score can cause some distress and haste to the defenders.

In Ireland there was only one very great striker who achieved the epic of being hired by three of the biggest clubs in Europe and even being recognized worldwide, saying that Johan Cruyff admired your game as a forward is the best compliment for a goalscorer, from his diving header goals to goals from the left, right between three rivals where there was no way out but with roulettes, but also for his solidarity as team player. Frank Stapleton is gone.
Then Robbie who was more of a striker than a forward in the Gary Lineker mould, but also scored a lot for big teams and vital goals as well for the Republic.
    Those guys are gone.
