Got this from OptaJoe via Balls.ie; if Sheridan plays in the 2014-15 Champions League proper, he'll become the fifth Irish player to play in the competition (post-1992) with a non-UK team. Who were the four others?

All correct. Just out of curiosity... who were the guesses? Mahon anyway I suppose, he played the first half of a 4-0 defeat to Real Madrid apparently.

I wasn't sure about Connolly, and I had Steve Finnan in there originally. Just saw the follow up tweet from OptaJoe with the answers, so I'm proud of that!

I saw the answers along with the question. Otherwise, I would have known McGeady & Babb... I suspect I would have thought of Connolly after a while but not been fully sure if he played in the CL or not. Not a chance in hell would I have got Mahon.
