Great stuff Dahamsta - remember PMing you about this as I have loads of footie and rock mags to give away - all I'd ask for is postage.
Hate to have to dump 'em in the recycling bin.![]()
Pardon this abuse of authority, won't keep you a mo.
As some of you know, I used to run Freecycle Munster, a local "chapter" of the international Freecycle group, which encourages it's members to give stuff they're not using away, rather than binning it or storing it in sheds and garages where they usually simply gather dust and take up space.
Anyway, I've decided to set up a web-based alternative, using the forum software we use here on Foot.ie. The new site is based at Freeb.ie, and I hope a few Corkonians will join up and post a few bits and bobs ye have hanging around to get things started on the site. Or, if you're looking for anything you reckon someone else might have rotting away in a shed somewhere, ask for it in the Wanted forum.
I'm leaving it Munster-targetted for the moment, which is why I'm posting here, hopefully it'll grow into something bigger; but sure if it just stays local, how bad.
Thanks,
adam

Adam, I tried to sign up, but I kept being refused by the image verification step. I'd like to use the same details as for this forum if possible.
I'd heard of Freecylce elsewhere, and its great to see someone being pro-active about over here.
Conor.
Go for it Hamish!
I've turned that off for the moment Conor, will you try again please?
Done, thanks!Originally Posted by dahamsta
