    Probably old news,but...

Dessie Cawley has been appointed as manager of Galway United’s U-21 side for this season’s eircom U-21 League and Enda McGuill Cup competitions. Dessie was manager of Sligo-Leitrim & District Junior Soccer League U-21 representative side who he brought to an Enda McGuill Cup final two years ago.
The Sligo native recently resigned as manager of the Sligo Rovers U-17 and U-18 sides and was subsequently offered the Galway U-21 post by Galway United’s first team manager, Stephen Lally.

Raf is playing through the pain barrier this year as he is suffering with shingles. He also picked up a bad knock to his ankle in the last game.

PS. I would like to apologise to a few here when I said that Johnny Glynn had the u21 job and not cawley. Should have known better than to listen to the source I got it from! Maybe thats why he was let go from the u21 panel !!!

I'm not a doctor but is that not contagious as chickenpox or something?
Woudn't have thought he'd be playing at all if he has that!

But the point Ash is making is that it's still highly contagious!
