    That's the one, cheers Gustavo.

Love The Knife's original of Heartbeats, especially the super funky Rex the Dog remix. That must be unusual to say the least, a dance track covered as an acoustic ballad? Anyone have any more more examples?

I already said Hounds Of Love too!!!!
    more bass

Roddy Frame (aztec camera) does a good version of that song too.

Only have a live version. Might have a hairy old tape of a studio version somewhere.

Chris Cornell does a superb version of this on his new album.

Listening to Grant Lee Philips covers album at the moment. Does some good versions of some 80s tunes.

There was surprisingly good remix of Bob Marley's Sun Is Shining a few years ago, can't think who did it though

That's the one, I remember hearing it was coming out and thinking "why, why, won't someone please think of the children??" and then being pleasantly surprised by it.

I'm almost sure it was mentioned as a particularly pointless cover way further back? Now if you'd said Faith No More - "I Started A Joke" on the other hand... there was a cover

Thrash Light Vision - My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down is a stellar cover too.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

More sinned against than sinned. Faith No Mores' pointless regurgation of 'Easy' comes to mind.
