Yeah, around that figure. I think the away fans get 7,000 (the Hill) and we have 70,000.Originally Posted by gonzo

Against my better judgement, I was dragged to Bon Jovi on Saturday night.
To say the roof lifted off the place when everyone(80k) started singing ole ole ole was amazing. Ive never heard a sound like it in my life.
There have been some terrific noisy occasions in Lansdowne but if this was anything to go by, the only problem we'll have is players hearing calls or instructions.
The mexican wave was fairly awe inspiring also.
Oh Bring it on.
Who is this guy, Trapper Tony?
80,000 people paid to watch Bon Jovi??!!![]()
hopefully people will make noise at our home games and not watch it passively like a game on TV, the chief medium of consuming football for a significant proportion of Orrland fans for the big matches
My thoughts exactly.Originally Posted by macdermesser
Standing in midfield, I also tried to size up a fairly large soccer pitch. We are going to be very very far away from the action. Hopefully, it shouldnt detract too much from the spectacle.

i would say all Irish seats will be sold for all Croke Park games. Blockbookers will have to take their allocation for all games as usual and i would imagine the other seats will be sold on a package basis i.e if you want to go to the big home qualifiers like germany then you will have to buy tickets for them all. The novelty value of playing in CP alone will help fill it. Croke Park full of fans more or less following the one team under lights..... cant wait!Originally Posted by gonzo
