1000 max i was thinking for that, maybe they are holding them back for neutrals also but saying that who knows what goes on in the mind of the FAIOriginally Posted by Cosmo
scary thought!!
Is the Tolka capacity not a bit short of the 10,000 mark ?
Anyways - it all goes to show that there is a crying need for a 15-20,000 capacity stadium that football can use in Dublin. Lansdowne's too big and Tolka and Dalymount are too small. If the FAI does ever persuade clubs in the capital to ground share, they should be putting money in as well to ensure a 15,00o seater is created.

I read today that the FAI reduced the capacity to 8,500 for safety reasons... Probably to do with missing & broken seats & such...
will tickets be on sale outside the ground on sturaday? or how could i get some tickets?
Well on Friday night the New Stand and Riverside were closed due to repair workOriginally Posted by pete
and it did look like there were a number of seats missing from the New Stand!
Who Cares?!
I think will be sold out well in advance of saturday.
I'm sweating on RTE to deliver mine now, hopefully they haven't messed up...
according to someone on the drogs forum the first few rows of the riverside will be covered upOriginally Posted by pete

But you have to remember that the Connaught side is a joke for toilet facilities - now I don't mind having a leak against a wall but could someone please think of the Women and Children!!
Who Cares?!
I only read it in the paper today. Tolka has a lot of broken & missing seats. Its also very poor for tv access as no room for cameras at pitchside. Maybe Setanta have reserved a few rows on the Riverside section to setup cameras?Originally Posted by Cosmo
Usually for big games there is a camera put in place in the Ballybough end with the help of scaffolding (spelling) so take will take up a good few seats or so........
Who Cares?!
Hope both sets of fans that did get tickets have a good day out really looking forward to seeing a good game of football on saturday on the TV.
Good luck to both teams.
City and Drogs got additional tickets today so about 4,000 each.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.
O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"
G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!
Heard Drogs got 575 extra today - Ballybough End , of that figure 100 were OAP/Students and 100 U-16's....only a handful left.
