The manager is hopeful that midfielder Chris Turner, who missed the draw in Dalymount Park because of injury, will be available for Saturday’s tie.
Nimble striker Darren Mansaram, who picked up a hamstring injury in the recent game against St Patrick’s Athletic, is set to be unavailable for at least another week.
Full-back Keith Foy is also a major doubt. The Dubliner aggravated a groin complaint last Friday and had to be replaced in the 80th minute by Jamie McKenzie.
Busy attacker Matthew Judge, whose second-half introduction sparked an improvement in Rovers’ display, could force himself into the first 11 for the visit of struggling Waterford United.

anyone remember the last time we played waterford? i think we drew 1-1??
i remeber there was 2 waterford fans in the gate side of the new stand and their players gave them loads of abuse
last time we played em was in the cup in 2004 when mickey feeney was manager. 2 f*ckin cat pieces of defending(ken o'malley mainly) gifted daryl murphy a brace in 1st 10mins, not a great start after taking a friday off work for a 10 hour round trip. played em off the park in 2nd half but only got one goal. heffo was man of the match and got his move to waterford on the back of that game
