Friday 21st games off

Seems slightly crazy to be honest.

Whilst I have full support for the Setanta Sports Cup, Derry and Sligo are the only clubs directly affected by this.

Well, postponed because it was down for Tolka Park, so yeah - same reason really. Basically, we just spent a thread coming to the unsurprising conclusion that RTE had screwed up.

There's no reason why the Setanta Cup final couldn't be played in Tolka on Easter Monday.

Instead we now have 3 league games postponed, and lopsided-looking league tables, just for Setanta's benefit.

Only in Ireland...

Nah Tony, it's true. The Bray game is moved to next Wednesday cos the powers that be wanna use Richmond for an U-17 international or something on the Friday night.
