I thought that's what the Hoops basketball club was for. Multi-sport groundsharing, SDCC have two clubs as permanent tenants - everyone's a winner! Tallaght stadium might not be ideal for basketball on wet and windy days but it couldn't be any worse than playing football in the RSC...

    Sssshhhh!!!!

Just because you're thousands of miles away doesn't give you carte blanche to tell the world about our strategy.

However its clear the GAA ploy is to delay the completion of the stadium as long as possible.

Going off topic a bit what is the timetable for the completion of the stadium?
Or is it all on hold due to the 6 GAA clubs row?
    I'm what? I'm ants at a picnic?

AFAIK it is on hold until after the judicial review is heard - proberbly not until October. That is, unless, the High Court throws it out without granting them a hearing.

    From http://hoganstand.com/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=58043

How - in practical terms – would the National Leagues be adapted to have regard for this framework?
Create 4 Divisions – with nine teams in each. Dublin would play in Division 1 – it would have first choice on all Dublin players. Teams from North, South and West Dublin would commence participation in Division 4. Each team participating in the League would play four home and four away games and the team in top position would be declared winners of their respective Divisions.
North, South and West Dublin would play their home games as follows: North Dublin – Parnell Park, South Dublin – Tallaght/RDS and West Dublin – Abbottstown

Does the redevelopment at the RDS, which will mean it's not available to Leinster for some months, take into account that the GAA plan to play there?
4 dublin teams in a 36 county gaaball league?not going to happen
