    Some Football club changes:

    Galway Rovers--> Galway United
    New York/New Jersey Metrostars--> Metrostars--> Red Bull New York
    San Jose Clash--> San Jose Earthquakes--> Houston 1836--> Houston Dynamo (The Houston club was called 1836 earlier this year, that was the date the city was first founded. But it is also the date Houston gained independance from Mexico so it angered a lot of Houston-based Mexican fans. So they changed it again.)
    "Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.
    "Ooooohhhh Nooooooo" Bobby Robson 91st minute.

    Over here the Mars bar is changing its name to 'Believe' in time for In-gur-land in the World Cup.

    The 'football club' element was removed form Man U's logo a few seasons ago. Nothing to do with the yanks - everything to do with trying to ensure their 'brand' wasn't just limited to football....

    How long before Chelsea do likewise...?

    Sorry CTID, it was a feeble attempt of humour on my behalf and I apologise!

    No way! Do they really expect to sell In-gur-land theme Mars bars over there too? Ridiculous....

    Terrible news to report from the shop today - the famous Starbar is no more, replaced by something called "Moro - Peanut" That new name isn't even a little bit funny when someone from Drogheda says it!

    'Believe' is even worse but at least when the World Cup is over I'll be able to go back to ordering two Maaaaaaaazzzzss baaaaahhsss every time I go into a shop up there.

    I 'believe' i will never eat another mars bar again if I see a 'believe' bar in a shop in Derry. Talk about ramming it down our throats, bad enough not having a team in the wc.
