Doolin looking forward to Windsor visit
Drogheda United manager Paul Doolin is eagerly awaiting this evening’s Setanta Sports Cup semi-final tie against Irish League champions Linfield, which marks the first ever meeting of the two clubs in a competitive fixture. Doolin’s side are top of the eircom League having yet to concede a goal in five games.
However, their Setanta Cup form has not been as impressive – they lost twice to defending eircom League kingpins Cork City in the group stages, thus finishing second in their section and earning a daunting trip to Belfast for their last four tie.
