New blog if anyone's interested - http://loihistory.wordpress.com/
LOI section on balls.ie - http://balls.ie/league-of-ireland/
FAI site transfer list which of course isn't a patch on the one here
Alan McLoughlins transfer has also been cancelled.
Andy Noonan (UCD?)
Hate to knock the best source for news on Eircom league player transfers (which it is) but every time the list is updated could the date of the update be included. It helps to keep track of whats going on.
Thanks a lot.
Never heard of him, don't think he's from UCD, unless he only played in the U-21s or something.Originally posted by RamblersWeb
Andy Noonan (UCD?)
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
see...
Ireland.com match report
He previously played for St Francis.
Not sure about where he was last season tho hence questionmark
That would explain how I haven't heard of him, that game was 1 month before the first UCD game I went to!
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
Schumi, you shouldn't have revealed your secret shame of being a very recent convert to the delights of UCD.
Visit http://www.ucd.ie/~soccsup
i know i said that johnny kenny had signed for us( sligo) but turns out now he hasnt , even tho i got my information from a very, very , very reliable source
If you do look at transfers on the FAI website, then you'll know that HARRY KENNY has left Longford Town and joined Athlone Town.
The last time I saw H. was at the Intermediate Cup final and he looked a bit tubby even for the 1st Division.
Does this mean his brother Henry has taken over at Ashtownvilla?
Sligo Rovers:
Ciaran Kelly Mayo league
Andy Brady (Bohs)
Brenden Gallen (Hayes)

also sligo rovers got john rogers from longford or he is ex longford anyway and henry glynn is gone to galway from sligo rovers
No from de Town.... Broke his collar bone vs "better at playing golf" portmarnock and never really pushed for a starting place after that.....
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
John Rodgers of little talent played the full ninety against CCFC at turners cross last year...
Reporter: "Gordan, can we have a quick word?"
Strachan:"Velocity"
Just to be picky, Ger Robinson and Sean Dillon have also signed for the Town, from Kilkenny and Aston Villa respectively.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Paddy Mulvihill from UCD too..
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Donal Golden - previously Cobh Ramblers though was out of contract...
signed with Kilkenny City
