This should be an interesting game. I didn't think we played well against Kilkenny at the last home game. A good win against Dundalk.

I'm hoping the opening games have shook them into competitive mode at home.

The weather is foggy and damp at the moment, not sure about the pitch they were training on it last night in the rain so i dont think it will be perfect. I expect it to be decent enough though.

Rams started brightly willy bruton had a few chances but gradually rams faded away. I have to say i dont agree with hendo playing 4-5-1 at home. Poor game really.

Lost our way big time in the 2nd half, should have been three or four up at half time, Ref was shockingly bad, how did he miss the back pass to the Athlone keeper in the first half and in the 2nd half Yelvie was clobbered on the edge of their box, no free nothing It wasn't a dirty game but he dished out a lot of yellows and was too quick to blow at every chance.
That said we only have ourselves to blame given the amount of chances squandered.
