a few things from last friday

very poor turnout. very poor game. no football.

noel showing he hasnt learned much from last season and playing people all over the place again. robbie k right midfield. come on.

limk fans cheered the red card more than the goal we scored.

the 7.30 start. for sponsorship reasons. who sponsored the match the other night?

stupid temporary fence near dressing rooms now pushed up further from half way line. its back it should be going.

was there a scrap at half time?

the new "ticket office" or whatever you want to call it. FFS. two blocks removed from a wall. you have to kneel down to see the person taking your money.

    12 euro in?

programme still ****e and still 3 euro. will someone show the club a copy of the 2.50 euro City Edition please.

car on its own. another draw?

potholes full of water all over the place.

pot noodles at half time? a potential sponsorship?

i hav eto travel further to get to home games this year than i did last year and after that display of ****e i doubt i'll make the trip too often.

    wheres tobin and keating?
    you gowl!

Good points all round and a lot i would agree with. Programme is done to the best of the persons ability but you will note that the content will get better in weeks to come when/if people start giving a hand with its production. The programme editor dicided not to get involved this year at very very short notice.
Ticket huts last season were surprise surprise vandelised and this year built in ticket boxes had to be built. There are three and many similar ones exist in other EL grounds. Pot holes? did you notice the rain for the few days before that? unavoidable there me thinks (and before anyone says why doesnt DD tar mac the place) who would put any money in if the lease isnt signed?

Yea its €12 to get in, so save money buy a season ticket. You didnt see keating in galway at the end of last season did you? his shoulder is broken and Tobin is busy with a family business. Id like to see both of them back for sure but both are right backs and both were playing out of position last year so maybe...
Ticket boxes, the far side tidied up big time and lots of work done around the ground, container shops bought instead of rented, lots of money invested and yes the players (Heff, Purcell etc) are of better quality this year so maybe €12 isnt all that bad.

Have faith its only a start and lets see if we can get 3 points this weekend and who knows.

yep early days but valid points all the same. plus its no harm getting the points across.

calling them ticket boxes is pushing it gael. holes in the wall. they'll do but should be a bit higher.

wont be buying a season ticket due to the fact i wont make many games this year. that match the other night wasnt worth a fiver. many matches last year were the same.

ha ha...no gael i didnt see keating in galway last season. unlike you i have a life and many other interests .

To be fair I thought both teams tried to play ...I saw a lot worse up there last year in a loty better conditions. It was an awful night and the pitch is an absolute joke ...A discrace really Limerick could have won the game by 4 or 5 with some good football leading to chances for lestor heffernan Barrett and rose that i can remember off the top of my head and that was the first half.I also think the wing might suit Robbie as he is very quick and he is not an out finisher and he might get more freedom out there to run at full backs

I think Robbie on the right could be a bit of a coup for NOC. He can take people on and works hard and nobody will convince me that he was an out and out goalscorer anyway. With himself and Heff on the wings there'll be no excuse for long ball hoofing this year.

€12 is too expensive for first division football. If we'd signed big name players maybe gael would have a point but the biggest of the new signings are local boys anyway.
The ball is round and has many surprises.
