as i have previously stated carew have not played the same eleven two weeks running all season !
bottom line two terrible defeats to an average view team and every team should be trying their best to win the lawson so as your last sentence says, you really are agreeing with me !

Star Rvs 1-3 Regional
Regional outplayed Star in the first half and in fairness should have been more than one up at half time, but the goal they got was a mistake on Star's behalf.
The second half Star came into it a bit more and pushed forward when Regional counter attacked and when trying to cross the ball into the box the ball hit a Star hand and Regional were awarded a dodgey enough peno (which they scored from) on 60mins.
Star pushed on and got back into it after 75mins when they pulled one back and when pushing forward for the equalizer the exact same thing with the handball situation happened in the Regional penalty area but the ref waved play on, but then with all Star players pushed forward Regional counter attacked again with 4 on 2 and got the 3rd to make it 3-1,
It must be said though that Star could easily have got them on another day maybe if Star had a full side out.
Overall as tight as it could have been I think Regional deserved their win and best of luck to them.

3rd Round Result
Herbertstown 1-0 Mungret Regional
If Regional took half the chances they had the game would have been over after half an hour
Star struggled big time and they scored from the Regional keepers mistake, they never looked like scoring from open play, as for the penos Regional got one that was a peno, it wasn't from a cross Mick Behan tried to lift it over a Star players head and was blocked by a hand, Star had a fair shout for a peno aswell but it would have been an injustice the way the game went
I know Star were missing one or two but so were Regional, in the end Regional thorughly deserved the win the scoreline flattered Star, don't think that ref should be allowed to ref games like this though he was so far off the play it was ridiculous, making calls from the half way line!!
wasn't mr. bourke by any chance
who were ye missing abbeyvale from last nights match. were they enforced changes or were players rested for game sat night. heard from a corbally player that ye had a mixture of the subs and minors playing last night cant trust a corbally man prob trying to play mind games tho.
Clown!!! well done in throwing away ye're promotion hopes.
ya mr. hanley is it surely peter ryan aint that slow to put his name on this and start sneering eveyone surely. so u have "fooled everyone " into thinking that you are peter ryan well done on the promotion too reckon ye ll take herbertstown easily and caherdavin and croom no bother. dont rate herbertstown much.
was at the balla v pike match on sunday and just have to mention that Bateman Park is gone beyond a joke. Its not lined , there is a two foot hole on the half way line , one of the goals is lobsided not to mention the fact that there are horses grazing on it. in this day and age are you telling me that this pitch is the best that Balynanty FC can come up with , for a club that has been around for so long its simply a disgrace to expect any team to play there.
2 good footballing teams reduced to hoofing the ball forward as it took about 8 touches to get the ball under control.
they could beat ac milan out there, its a sh1th0le
I know Wembley play Herbertstown on Sunday because I keeps an eye on 1A.
I think Corbally to beat Herbertstown 3-1 and advance.
But who will they face after that, what other teams are left?

Hi the www.ldmc.ie site is not in competition with this site but will assist in providing information to help all of you. I am sure the 12th man will agree, the LDMC site will never have a discussion board, and the more people discussing local soccer the better as dialogue is good so long as it is informedOriginally Posted by HuRya
here, here,it will then be a better site when all is open to allOriginally Posted by Old keeper
