bizarre coincidence: 1st time exposure to two different bands in that i just listened to most of cave's 'murder ballads' the same day i listened to that 3rd liars lp. yeah labels are pigeon-holing nonsense a lot of the time, and i've yet to hear anything else by liars, just what i read about the first one (dancepunk description by one reviewer). a friend said the liars latest is like animal collective's 'here comes the indian' played by radiohead which seems a bullseye to me

Ah, murder balllads... Now that's an album.

Check out Let Love In and Henry's Dream if you like that one.

Just got Placebo - Meds and after 3 or 4 listens, I am liking it a lot.
Waiting on the Mozfathers new offering.

    Question

Picked up the Kooks debut album there last week and so far I've been more than impressed, very tight sound. Also the new one from Nightmares on Wax is pretty cool. Along with others Clap Your Hands Say Yeah brings a smile to my face and Belle & Sebastians one is as good if not better than what's been before. With The Streets & Dirty Pretty Things to come I think it's been a good year so far.

Can anyone fill me on the Delays new album as I keep going to buy it only to put it down when something else catches my eye.
And you ask me to help you??!! Man is evil!!!! Capable of nothing but destruction!
