let's move on from the derry game, lessons have been learned&match sharpness should be better. hopefully we'll bring a decent crowd cos i think we'll be a damn sight better than we were last night. would be happy with a clean sheet

we must be more direct on the break! countless times on friday we were in great positions on the counter attack in midfield nd instead of go towards goal we would stop the ball in the centre circle and look for either the full backs or the wingers! and then derry had loads of time to get back into shape and win back possesion! 1-0 to rovers with hughes to score!
if we start mansaram up front I think we can win 2-0
ya...he really should start!
i dont think this mansaram guy is as great as ye all say he is i'd still start with flannery

spoke to a few of the players this morning (wont say which players) but one was very dissapointed the other more optimistic. the one thing is that they will learn from the performance the other night. we are not a bad team after one defeat neither are we a great team after one victory. the whole thing at the moment is a learning process. we have got some good players and some average players. the important thing is to creat a good team spirit and the supportes to get behind them it will take time but i feel this year we can finish mid table which would be a great achievment (and maybe have a good cup run) the cost of running a full time team now is huge and remember we are at the lower end of the scale regarding finance. it is vitally important for the supporters to still go to the matches we need at least 2000 people every week.the potential is threre but also we have some very hard critics who want to knock sligo rovers all the time. you must remember that we have a lot of young players (maybe we need a bit more experience) but these players will improve so give them encouragement anytime you meet them. its very heartening to here comments from other supporters about how colourful our supporters are. i have also noticed that rovers bulletin board has by far the greatest amount of hits of any team in the country. this also proves to me that there is a tremendous passion for sligo rovers. be patient we will be well rewarded over the next couple of seasons. keep the faith
Not again.

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Its not looking good for this game to go ahead tomorrow with all that f*u*c*k*i*n*g rain!
I think 2-1 to us if it goes ahead that is. Mansaram and a Foy free kick

If the game goes ahead im gonna stick my neck out now and say Foy will be our best player....
i dunno if he would run well on heavy ground though,

I've heard the pitch has passed an inspection this morning. So unless the skies open today, it looks like it's game on.
I have scattered my dreams underneath your feet, tread carefully, cos it's my dreams you walk on.
