Summer football is brilliant. I really miss those winter days, with matches called off because of the weather....

Píssing down since about 8 last night in my part of west Wicklow, so not really a shock. Fair play to Bray/ the ref for getting the inspection done and dusted early.

easier macy when ref is from dublin and the game is "local" you try and get a ref to longford on match day at 11.

but as you said, fair play to bray, anyway a lot of people would be put off by the rain seeing as there is no cover in the ground now.

but its no use to me seeing as i drove from laois and now have friday evening traffic to look forward to on the n7

Just to clarify, my comment was in no way a jab at our club, just a fair play to Bray.

Oh i know that macy, but a number of times the club is made out to be a fault, when actually the ref doesn't turn up until late afternoon even when they know of the weather/history of our pitch
