New signing from UK this week?

Rico told the supporters forum there should be developments in the next day or two on a player from the UK.

Lads on the City forum saying its Cillians brother.

But with it being the UK, it could be any number of characters really.

City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

ipswichs academy and the way they look after their players is something them and their fans can be really proud of.

And junior football clubs all over this country have something to be ashamed of allowing players that young to be shipped away on that scale.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I reckon its the eL clubs are more of the problem in not recruiting and retaining them. Ya can hardly expect Blarney Street United to stop a 15/16 year old young fella from the lure of those english acadamies.

Anyway, anyone ever seen Cathal Lordan play?

Just for the record .... nothing may come of this. There is nothing set in stone ... i agree it sounds good but this could equally be nothing.

Maybe A Face but i think we'd be a great option if he's around getting trials with the likes of Southend.
Optimism but sure we'll see anyway.
