Lads, the guy is a young fella ... he'll learn from this and be a better player for it.
from the official site.
First player to get an additional ban from the Disciplinary Commission of Setanta.
He will miss the Drogs game and the semi final.
Proper order too.
Might cop on now.
He's also been fined two weeks wages + €150 by Rico.
Hope he takes the punishment well. Didn't seem moody or anything Tuesday night anyway.
The fine would lead you to believe he's on €675 a week rather than €925 or €1,125.
If he's on anything more than €675, it's a monstrous fine imo.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
His income level is pure speculation as no one here can know for a fact.
2 weeks wages is a considerable fine nonetheless. Just look at your own monthly wage packet & cut it in half
3 match ban a Setanta Cup first & IMO unfair - 2 matches would have been fair. Will be interesting to see what happens Colin Hawkins for stamping on player...
Good point pete.
While Roy proved that he has a short fuse and is easily wound up, Hawkins offence was totally unprovoked and very dangerous. Setanta have to give him an equal ban surely and in the current predicament god knows how much Fenlon would make him cough up as punishment.
I actually feel he will take it well. Roy would have been warned after the Dungannon sending off and would have been disappointed with himself i'd imagine. This is an early chance for him to learn a lesson.
Speculation it is pete.
Nonetheless, City aren't getting any use out of Roy for the next two weeks really. That's his fault and why should he still get paid for costing us one of our best attacking outlets?
Good to see him still running himself ragged the other night though.
