Super post there buddy - you had me in fits laughing at that![]()
No I don't mind a joke made against Shels here and there but that isn't remotely funny!
"Ok lads this is what we are doing tonight..we are making a few changes ok...Crawley you are in at left back and Jim Crawford you are back in the centre of midfield...i want you both to kick everything that moves...the ball the opponents everything...in fact that goes for the lot of you...kick everyone really hard and then act innocent...its the only way we can get at least a point because we are not good enought to beat them by playing football...Crawley you especially...just keep following through on opponents like i showed you yesterday in training...we are Shels afterall and we will get away with it...good luck lads and enjoy yourselves"...

Who Cares?!
People may laugh but it looks like the above is actually very true. I think Fenlon should have a serious look at himself as i can't believe what he's come out with recently i mean Bray he blamed us wasting time, Linfield (a) he had a pop at Felix Healy (who only gave his opinion which he is entitled to do REMEMBER!!!) and Longford he blamed them for putting ten men behind the ball SUPPOSEDLY! Me thinks Pat is feeling the pressure or maybe he needs a pair of Momo Sissoko's glasses!!!!! Seriously though to blame others for Shels results is a poor show sour graphes as lets be honest Bray deserved their point as did Longford as did Linfield their win.Originally Posted by RedX
we actually but 5 in mid field, not used much in this league but great against teams like shels and cork for us.
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........
Crawley is a disaster, he had no composure whatsoever the other night. Frequently over-hit hopeful punted crosses and probably should've been sent off. I never, ever considered him good enough for a club like Shels.
I have to agree, i think everytime something goes wrong or bad for Shels he is always looking for someone or something to blame other than the fact that Shels aren't performing and they only have themselves to blame.Originally Posted by Rafa B

Ah I'd say Shels suits him because 8th in the league is about his level.Originally Posted by JW.

Jeez its worse this site is getting.
Every football manager makes excuses when his team underperforms. Rico does it constantly - always bleating on about time-wasting, and teams not coming to play football.
But the imaginary teamtalk is just unfunny. Substitute "Crawley" and "Crawford" for any other team's 2 hard men, and it applies to them. Supposedly.

Murphy and...O'Callaghan perhaps
Jayz, i wouldn't say so. Our only player who has a reputation as tough in the tackle is Joey although Roy did get the better of Shels physically at the start of last season. That was refreshing after all the years of Shels being physically stronger than us.
Georgie is hardly intimidating though, to be fair.

City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!
Um... not really, although I suppose I should be used to the Shels-bashing at this stage. Cork have had more red cards than Shels this season, but you don't see threads on their disciplinary "problems".Originally Posted by Risteard

Aside from the ludicrous sendings off in the Setanta Cup last year I don't remember many City players being sent off...Originally Posted by MrJoeSoap

Maybe Murphy but he generally plays more football(especially going forward) than kicking lumps out of players.
Like Risteard id say Joey would be hardest in the tackle but theres no way he goes out just to kick people around either.
