brilliantly written article and it portrays Sean as an honest and ambitous man who wants only the best for Sligo and knows how to get it.
With thanks to Aine, (Not looking bad in the eyes of one the wrong side of 40!)

great article but thinking he can be as big as cork is too far, aim to stay in the division before you talk about winning it
sure we'll see more next monday night
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........
talking about being as big is his long term ambition , which is good to have imo
but his long term ambition is to manage in england as well

why is he suppose to do crap with rovers and make himself look sh!t?
I must admit MAX POWER - that is one of the most ridiculous statements that have ever been posted on this forum and there have been some real dazzlers!
sorry that came out wrong i think or was taken up wrong. just like players, its a pity a manager can't their managerial career to a high without mentioning going to england to manage a club. nothing against rovers or their manager just the way things happen in our league in general.

connor has said that he's here to make a long term impact on sligo rovers rather than one or two good seasons, unlike any succesful manager in our past. i'm sure he realises he is still young and 4-5 years here will do him the world of good
"Even if the sun ceases to rise, Even if the sea ceases to flow, Even if the wind stops to blow, The name of Sligo Rovers will shine and shine forever like the morning, glinting star in the sky."
Yeah and hopefully by then he will realise that going there is a difference between leaving here to go to england and leaving for a decent club in england
the piece is very well written but he's hardly the nice little angel they make him out to be.sorry to hear about his mother and the crash...didn't know hat before.
Congrats to yourself, Nobby & all the Guys at Merville on winning the Cup last Saturday!
