Johnny Carey played for St James Gate not Rovers.Kevin moran played 1 game for Bohs.Not so sure on this one but Uwe Seeler might have played for Cork Celtic once.Danny McGrain's brother played for Galway.

Paddy Roche (Shels) ditto.
Damien Richardson (Rovers) went on to star at Gillingham

Well no... he never played first team football. We didn't think he was good enough, so farmed him out to our junior club, Liverpool. Wonder what ever happened to him?

Sean Fallon ex Sligo Rovers went on to play with Celtic and was assistant manager under Jock Stein when the Bhoys won the European cup. Pat Mc Cluskey ex Rovers also went on to play for the Glasgow side. Mike Small ex West Ham had a season in the Showgrounds
