    Aaron Shanahan

    A goalkeeper who had experience at under-21 level with Saint Patrick’s Athletic and more recently with Bangor Celtic in the Leinster Senior League was just previously a net minder with Dundalk.

    Sean L'Estrange

    Sean is talented player, having impressed for Shelbourne’s under 21 side last season.

    Aaron Mooney

    Centre-half, signed from Glenmore Dundrum, will captain the Cats for 2006.

    Paul Malone

    Paul is a centre-half who has come against the tide coming from Shamrock Rovers to the Nore-side club. Paul was transferred from Rovers to Kilkenny City in February 2006. Paul can also play at left-back, signed for Shamrock Rovers from Leinster Senior League side Belgrove in September 2004. This talented youngster was thrown in at the deep end in September 2004 when he made his debut against Cork City at home. He won many admirers that night amongst the Hoops faithful with a performance that totally belied his lack of experience. Showing no fear, he went on to play in eight of the remaining ten games, that season.

    Conor McMahon

    A new signing for Dundalk who has been sent out on five-month loan deals to Kilkenny City. He was snapped up from St Patrick’s Athletic during the winter. The 18 year old is a 5'11" right back.

    Liam Tiernan

    A defender formerly with Dublins UCD.

    Christopher Doran

    A new signing for Dundalk who has been sent out on five-month loan deals to Kilkenny City. He was snapped up from St Patrick’s Athletic during the winter. He plays on the left wing or as a left back, he was 21 in August 2005, and stands at 5'6''

    John McNicholas

    He was signed by Aaron Callaghan in 2004 straight from Saint Joseph's Boys Under-18 side. He made 28 starts and two sub apperances and scored three goals for Athlone Town. Signed for Longford Town at the start of the 2005 season, from Athlone Town, but was released later on during the same season and joined Kilkenny City. His date of birth is 12.07.1984.

    Darren O’Brien

    Darren plays in the middle of the park and has just come from W.F.T.A.

    Brian King

    National Senior Womens Coach Noel King’s son, Brian, is another to have arrived from Shels.

    Tony Griffiths

    Midfielder, the only player left for the Pat Scully era.

    Hussein Yazdani

    An ex-Coventry City midfielder, who was released by Shelbourne before signing for the Cats. He also has a number of Irish U19 international caps gained during the 2003-2004 season.

    Cathal Brady

    Cathal has just arrived from Home Farm.

    Conor Buckley

    Conor is a striker who has just come from Pegasus.

    Patrick O’Hanlon

    Patrick is a forward who hails from Moyle Park College.

    Eddie Smith

    This guy is a pacy striker who could defences plenty of problems. Eddie previously played with Dublin City. He was born 1st January '87 and stands at 5' 10".

    David Grincell

    Kilkenny add young striker David Grincell, an Irish under-18 cap and a Kilkenny native.

    Stephen Cashin

    The man who has just come from UCDs Belfield Park.

    Trevor Conroy

    Trevor has just come from Greystones

    Rory Hussey

    Rory used to play his football at Pegasus

    Peter Darcy

    Peter was previously with St. Patrick's Athletic

    Shane Hennessy

    Shane has just come from St. James’s Gate

    Mark Reid

    Mark used to play for Cherry Orchard.
