the "Fan Camps" makes for good news
The WC Organising Committee will open a ticket portal on March 27th.
However it doesn't appear to be as good as previously announced.

1) You can return tickets - FAT Chance.
2) You can transfer tickets with a good excuse. these are
v Transfer within the family and partnerships, accepted by the Law
v Illness of ticket holder / visitor
v Ticket holder or visitor get no visa to travel to Germany
v Ticket holder or visitor is prohibited from travelling
v Force majeure (e.g. acts of war, earthquake, terrorism, political upheavals, epidimia, natural catastrophes)
v Death of ticket holder or visitor or case of death within the family of ticket holder / visitor
v Hardship case
however it does not allow you to swop tickets.
It also costs 10 euro a pop to change a name.
I still don't believe they will check names on tickets with photo id.
BTW 2 good sites with plenty of info for those travelling are
http://www.fanguide2006.org/en
and the England fans site

the resale tkts have started there - next to impossible though - everytime you click there gone!
I reckon that the whole WC ticket portal is a bit of a cop out. I have checked 5 times a day since it came on and after the first day and not being able to access it, there is no availability at all. Its not like I want Sweden England tickets or Germany ones. In Germany for 10 days and looking for Korea v Togo or Sweden v Trinidad tickets and it ain't looking good at all, despite the large stadia. Being a block booker with the FAI from the beginning is no help as they have nothing to do with it. Looks like the black market beckons then so. I swear I got a better reception from the IFA than i did with the FAI. Something wrong with the system when a season ticket holder for the EL and block booker can't get some sort of official ticket for the WC
A few limited availability tickets popped up this morning, managed to grab a pair for Ukraine-Tunisia in Berlin.
Have a look, you never know....
