Well as I said, I wasn't paying attention all along, so that's a running average then, with last year and the year before's average in brackets. I see...
I won't compound it by telling you what I though those figures were!

    Cheers Terry.
Cancel that first question so, Stu. But am still curious as to what figure you eventually decide on, have you reliable posters, go for averages, or what?

Yeah you're probably right, it's just a couple of other lads I know said it was around 450 so I just stuck up the consencus. Terrible crowd whatever way (applies in both sences to most of the people at the Town End).

I thikn it's detailed towards the start of the thread. Basically, I'll choose official attendances released by the club of reported in the media first, then the most reasonable guesstimate (i.e. if someone guesses 100 and someone else says the main stand which holds 2000 was 2/3rds full, and tre were 200 standing, I'll go with the lattre) and then the lowest to keep the figures conservative.

You can tell which posters are reliable too. But generally, most of the regular posters here are reliable and are interested in seeing the proper averages. I'm sure some of the figures are out, but there's not really a lot I can do about that.

Stu, just noticed that you have Cork attendances "missing Pats" from the first round - we played them in Richmond in the first round.

Just shows the difference being crap makes - when we played them in our second home game of the season, the attendance was 2145 = a drop of 10%, worse if you assume that Shels, being League leaders, would've brought more last night than they did the first time. Big assumption, I know...

Waterford United v UCD was I'd guess about 1200 although didn't have a good view of far 2 blocks A and B but rest of stand was fairly full and maybe 200 standing around the ground.

Drogs v Cork would have been around 1,800.

Bohs v Drogs wouldn't have been much over 1,000 I would have said.

Maybe we brought 20% more, and your lot turned up 30% (or something) less?

Where have all your fans gone? 1400 not including season ticket holders and all the under 12s let in for free down to this? Seems the higher up ye go the less your crowds are getting smaller. more realstic figure too i may add

    Way too high, I think.

There were 50 standing at the far and and mabe 100 beside the stand, so your guess on the numbers standing is OK. That leaves 1000 in a 1200 seater stand? Block A had about 20 people in it, and Block B was at least half empty. We reckoned 700, without a good view of the far blocks. Maybe 900 if the stand was fuller at the far end?

I'm couting "first round" as home and away, if you know what I mean. So "first ruond" here means the first game against Cork in Cork. (I know there was only one, but it's just me being consistent to put it that way...)

Worst atmosphere I have ever experienced, and I've been to Belfield more often than 99% of posters here. Hell, I've even been to Ireland friendly games. It was like the mute button had been pressed!

Nice smart arsed answer from you again gael.At least we give the accurate figure all the time so when we get around 2000 plus against Rovers or `1000 at home to Monaghan it will be the true figure. Also all our home attendances are still higher than yere's.

560-poor crwod but it was a Saturday,it was wet and it was against Kilkenny.
