Comparisons to 2005 and 2004 -
Drogheda United v Bohemians - 2006 - 2300 (2005 - 2400; 2004 - 2509)
Dublin City v Cork City - 250 (n/a; 300)
Shelbourne v Bray Wanderers - 1000 (1983; n/a)
Sligo Rovers v Longford Town - 2054 (n/a; n/a)
UCD v Derry City - 426 (523; n/a)
Waterford United v St. Patrick's Athletic - 750 (1400; 1800)
FIRST DIVISION
Athlone Town v Cobh Ramblers - 350 (250; no figure)
Galway United v Shamrock Rovers - 1122 (n/a; n/a)
Kildare County v Dundalk - 220 (150; 450)
Kilkenny City v Finn Harps - 84 (n/a; 80)
Monaghan United v Limerick - 100 (80; 37)
500 to 700 seems to be the opinion for Rovers v Kildare.
Only two games, but, coupled with poor attendances during Euro 2004, further evidence for the two-week break during major tournaments even if we don't qualify...
915 at Pat's-UCD. Would have said 700-ish myself, but can be hard to tell when there's terracing. Certainly appears reasonable anyway.
2054 at Derry v Dublin City
Correction: 910. The firemen weren't actually IN Richmond.Originally Posted by pineapple stu

I would've gone lower than you Stu, I said to a mate early in the first half I didn't think there was more than 500 there, obviously I couldn't see through the gantry to the Shed end of the Camac but most people tend to move down at half time anyway.
Revenge for 2002
Cobh v Dundalk
(230) poor enough, but a 1pm kick off before the Munster/Biarritz game
Cobh v Athlone 425
Cobh v Kildare 350
''and I for one welcome our new insect overlords''
877 Bohs/ Sligo - more 'crowds' like that and we can't afford not to fire Farrelly
A patriot is someone who knows how to hate his country properly.
Is it more Farrelly related than World Cup related? That is an utterly terrible crowd by Bohs standards!Originally Posted by sonofstan
Bit of both, I would imagine (though obviously an outside guess)
oh believe me it's GF related!Originally Posted by Poor Student

Now **** off spoofer![]()
I'd imagine there has to be some element of the World Cup there! Lot of bad attendances this weekend, continued with 350 (lowest of the season) at Harps v Galway. 12 Galway fans, they note.
I sure I read in the Star that it was 2,500 and I can't believe that I...........well erm believed itOriginally Posted by pineapplestu

Who Cares?!
CollegeTillIDie was saying it was reported at 3000 on Aertel. Not a hope of it!
According to yesterday's Star:
Bohs V Sligo = 1,200
Cork V Drogs = 3,000
Pats V UCD = 2,500I just hope for Rory Kerr's own sake that this was a typo
Bray V WUFC = 750
