In fairness my 183 at the Monaghan game was plucked out of the air and just completely randomly landed on last year's average! I see you have 200 for last season's game up there, there were definitely more on Friday so I guess it should be more than 200! Maybe 247....

I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"
Hmmm Derry pull in more than their season average for last season in their first game of the season against U.C.D. March 2006
2005... Shelbourne pull in their first crowd in excess of 2,000 for a home game against U.C.D., on the opening day of the season.
The Students are obviously attractive to watch to home teams fans
Ah that's no fun!Originally Posted by JC_GUFC
I'll up it to 210 then - think one of the Monaghan fans was saying the same. So over the course of the season, that'll increase their average by 27/17 = 1 and a bit. Happy now Julian?

Just for the record, with the Shed gone in Cork now, its hard to judge the attendance now. If the Shed was full then it was circa 1500 and whatever was in the other stands, now we are all in the other stands so its hard to make out. I'd nearly go with what is printed in the programme this year.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
You want to read the post more carefully before walking into posts like that and dancinpants'!! The other figures were the attendances for the corresponding fixture in the previous two years. If you look closely, you'll note not recalling an average of "n/a" at Rovers for the past two years.Originally Posted by CollegeTillIDie

I stand corrected. But the point is UCD attracted more punters to the Brandywell than Derry's opponents on the First home game of the season last year.Originally Posted by pineapple stu
Was at the RSC and from what I could see... looked like around 1100-1200 at the game... horrible weather conditions... the stand was close to full.. bout 1000 in it.. and a hunfred or so out on the ground...

Yup, agree with that. 1200 at the RSC last night. Freezing cold and the ****ing sleet made conditions treacherous.Originally Posted by SPXcyan
I estimate about 700 at Athlone V Rovers. About 300 Rovers and 300 Athlone in the main shed and about 100 Athlone behind the goal.
About 250 if not less at dundalk v cobh...really poor attendance & a game . I just hope that it was becasuse it was paddys day & that why no1 turned up including the players!!
