No change to the club top draw figures, incidentally.
Getting our wires crossed here. If you look at our average attendance this season playing on a monday did affect the crowd.
Point I was making regarding our home support not dropping off this season despite the figures is that premier clubs, by and large, bring a decent support.
KOH
official attendance was given tonight as 3085 between Galway and Dundalk. Again, due to a large crowd entering towards kick off time rather than arriving early (me included) people were rushed in and no count was made of any season ticket holders or kids, or at least when I was entering anyway. GUFCT can clear this up?
If I had to guess I would have said 3500 - 3600 would be closer to the real attendance.
Isn't it a UEFA Licence requirement to be able to prouduce real attendances?
1250-ish at UCD-Shels. Our biggest crowd of the season, seeing as we're comparing.
yes it is. Only problem I can see is the club find it urgent to get the crowd in before KO. The supporters (including myself) can only blame themselves if they arrive late for the match and miss the start of the match. Nobody asked me for any ticket on entering so surely there was much the same elsewhere.

"Cause Galway are MASSIVE"-RW Rover on 24/8/07 00:29am
I'd say there was between 2000-2500 at the City v Sligo match last night. It wasn't a bad crowd really. Hopefully we'll get a few 100 more then that at the Waterford game on November 3rd.

The 3,085 was the paying attendance it didnt include,Kids go Free,Season Tickets or Sponsors. The crowd was almost 4,000 the same as Rovers.
Waterford United v Longford Town approx 900 I thought.
