Yeah I would have said about 150 at UCD v Blues (17 away fans that I know of). Bigger crowd than I expected!

I think one of the lads counted 184 which is a lot bigger than I'd expected. I was selling programs on the way in and I recon there were more than 17 from Waterford there. It seemed like maybe about 30.

In fairness, it's in line with the general World Cup trend of attendances being 40% to 50% of average.

And we get to do it all over again next week after the league arranged our game against Longford to clash with the World Cup semi on Tuesday, instead of on Monday when there was a rest day. Unbelievable.

    300 max

in Terryland last night worse league crowd in years for what was a dreadful game. Im still a believer in traditional soccer season are there are too many distractions for people during the summer and the actual Club GAA championships affect us more than county games.

People don't go to watch GUFC because the standard of football is brutal.
The fact that we were in direct competition with France vs Spain doesnt help.

There are no mythical thousands out there who would love to go to Terryland, but can't because Liam Mellowes are playing Ardrahan or
Clonbur are playing St Michaels. A clash with these games might take 20 punters at most off the gate.

Whilst you're arguably in the Midlands or just the north, so are neither...! Though it is a difficult county to place on a compass.

It's got a lot to do with the Republic ignoring the North when it talks about the country/island. Hence Sligo becomes the North West, and Monaghan becomes, well - take yer pick.....!

I estimated close to 500 at Flancare Park last night. There were about 100 people speckled around the 3 uncovered stands, with the main stand reasonably full, including 40 or so from Bray.

Spot on. I estimated 120 Hoops and 80 locals.

This is definitely a long shot cos of where we were standing last night but I'd say about 1300 at Shels v Pats - 500 in the new stand (assuming it holds 800), 800 in the old stand. Shels fans feel free to correct me, particularly anyone was was in the new stand and would've had a better view of the old one.

Last night was a hard one to judge I thought. There was about 350 of you lot in Section A?? As well as about 400 Shels fans in the rest of the stand. 50 in the Ballybough and about 5/600 in the New Stand. The Star says 2,000 I wish - though that game should be getting 2,800-3,500!!

The new stand holds more than 800. There are 4 square sections and 1 rectangular one in the middle. I once counted the 4 squares as 16 across and 16 down so thats 1024 in the 4 squares anyway!!
