    Game Off

Perfect f*cking start to the season. Referee felt the pitch wasn't playable. Didn't hear anything about a refix. Midweek no doubt
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

the ref ( alan kelly) inspected the pitch earlier and said it was fine, at 5 it was still fine, by 7 there was no hope. he said he could have started but it would be stopped mid way so no point.

feel sorry for all the sligo fans that have traveled, same as 2 years ago, how the rest of that season is mirrored too

Will this be played on the 27th I wonder? The Kildare/Lims game was called off and been re-scheduled for that.

Team and Supporters had just landed in Balyboffey when the ref announced the
game was postponed. (Very) Provisional replay date - Easter Monday

very disappointed that the game was called off! lost a lot of potential money in fanzine sales!

on the other side we have two home games in the one week- so it should be sold out please God!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Isn't taking a half day off work worth it anyway?

Not if we go down 3-0* it'll just depress me and I'd have been better off at work in the first place.

*Obviously this isn't going to happen, it's just a scenario .
