A waterlogged pitch?????

If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
Sure the fixture was due to be in Limerick, it's no surprise that a hole would fill with water!Originally Posted by KildareFan

Weather was terrible yesterday in Limerick, hale and rain that could kill a fella, and was even worse all last night. That said, no first game of the season should fall fowl of water-logging. It's the fact the Limerick share the ground with junior Sunday league side Rooter Rovers, sorry, Hill Celtic, that's the main reason it's called off. The Hill boys probably have the pitch wrecked. Doesn't bode well for the surface for the rest of the campaign!
The match has been re-arranged for Monday, March 27, at Hogan Park with a 7.30 pm kick-off.
