Dublin Supporters Club Meeting, Wednesday 15th March.

There will be a meeting of the Dublin Supporters Club next Wednesday, 15th March, in The Barge pub, Charlemont Street, Dublin 2 at 8pm SHARP. The pub is situated at the bridge as you cross over the grand canal on the way to Ranelagh.

The aim of the meeting will be to form a committee and elect officers for the coming year and also to make plans for upcoming social and fundraising events.

So if you know any Rovers fans that are based up around the Dublin area and would be interested in attending please let them know.

    Cheers.

P.S. >> Can this be made a Sticky please.

Angry Venue For Dublin Supporters Clubs Meetings

Are all the meetings going to place at 8pm in The Barge ?

Handy for those South of the Liffey - nightmare for those North of it.

Options of either hanging around after work til 8 then trying to get home after meeting by midnight or going home after work - back into town and still home late!!

What happened to democracy of central meeting place and being fair to all ?

What about say 7pm central venue, meetings for clubs always start about 30mins late anyway no matter what time you intend to start them!!!

    Location of Dublin Supporters Club

    G&G,

Nothing has been decided yet on where the Dublin Supporters Club are going to be based, it can be discussed this evening at the meeting. The problem with trying to find a central location is where will you get a spot that has a seperate room and also wont charge you for renting it out.

The Barge was just a quick fix for this meeting as we didnt really have time to look into other options. Its actually easy enough to get to from the city centre as the Green Luas line (to Sandyford) has a stop right beside it (Charlemont).

As I said, location & times of meetings can be one of the topics for this evening, any suggestions will be most valuable.

So hopefully see you there later on.

    Cheers.
