This is short notice alrite. Hopefully i'll be able to get out to it though.
Is this why The Trust meeting was brought forward to last nite instead of the usual first tuesday of the month?
Tonight at 9pm in the Racing Lodge in Doughiska we will hold our formal season launch. The Players, Management, Staff and all volunteers from Stewards to Directors from Executive members to sub-committee members will be there.... www.galwayunitedfc.ie

These are exciting times spread the word folks sell a season ticket get a few of our dissaffected fans going up the Dyke Road next thursday.
Good news!
more water!
Be interesting to see what they say tonight.
Many heading to Monaghan? It's usually a terribly depressing place - particularly on grey Sundays as, no doubt, Kavanagh would agree - but Friday nights and the start of the season make it very enticing. As does a few pints in the bar (Kavanagh would have no problem with that either).
It could be a memorable season; let's hope the general wave of confidence doesn't prove misplaced in Monaghan.
Where is this Racing Lodge place in Doughiska?
Is it the old Blackrock Hotel?
I'm sure there's reasons for it, but would last night not have been better with Champions League on tonight and tomorrow. Wouldn't think too many supporters would be able to show at such short notice.
Hope it goes well though.
Ya very shot notice for supporters and volunteers alike.

Well, anything else said last night besides what GUFCT qouted above?
Still very dissapointed in the amount of time that the supporters were given in the announcement of the launch, very unprofessional in my view, almost like we werent wanted! If I was given at least an extra 24hrs notice I could have made it.
Unfortunately, i wasnt able to make it either Terry. C'mon lads someone has to have an update of how it wentOriginally Posted by Terry
about 70/80 people at it an excellent launch with a great contribution from Club Chairman John Fallon which should have got anyone that was there fired up for the season.
There are over 90 people involved in the club including Players and management and last night was really for them and also an opportunity to meet our main sponsor who has done a fantastic job on the racing lodge you wouldnt recognise the place.
Could some please answer my question about where the Racing Lodge is?
Just that I read somewhere that the post-match revelry will be taking place there as well during the season. And I also saw on The Galway Independent that buses to away games will be picking up people from there as well. Think we're taking it for granted that everyone knows the place. Thanks.

obviously near the racecourse
it is owned by harrmack so its only right that they should be promoted in any form we can by putting it in each press release when we issue travel details to away games
