Was at the Celtic B game against Claremorris and I have to say that its going to take a huge effort from the rest of the league to stop Celtic from retaining their title. For the 40 minutes or so that the game was on they totally blew Claremorris out of the water with some brilliant football that their first team could take a leaf out of. They were 2 nil up when 'The Rock' called a halt to the game and it would have ended up 5 or 6 I have no doubt. They man-marked Glynn and with that Claremorris had nothing to offer. Celtic B for the title.
Aye "The Rock" blew it, we called that the match should not have gone ahead which was even more frustrating when we were 2-0 up and he decided his wolly hat was wet enough.
In fairness to the players there were no bad tackles but sense had to prevail and he called it.
Glynn has bags of potential, if Dykes get word of him ......![]()

Cheers dude. Everyone has matches in hand on us although so I'm sure it will flucuate a lot before the season is out. Anyone else have an opinion on how this division is going to go? Everyone is taking points off each other as far as I can see. I still think Celtic B are favourites, with Swinford, Fahy and Ballinrobe the likeliest to challenge them. Glenhest and Achill are quite unpredictabe I think, very good on their day and seemingly fallible against middling opposition other times. Claremorris are a good side too. Westport B are getting it together now with a few new young players drafted in. Charles O Malley is a good left back and will strengthen the team. The sooner Dixie Duffy is back the better for them. Conn are as good as gone at this stage and Killala are likely to join them. Anyone else have some insights??
Aye, I hear Dixie is back alright, is he injured or something?
Nowt wrong with his right arm the last I heard.Originally Posted by irishyop
