Half time penalty shootout last night

Anybody notice the girls halftime penalty shootout last night

    Contestant 1 supports Liverpool.......

    Contestant 2 supports Liverpool....

    Contestant 3 supports Man Utd.....

Contestant 4 supports Cork City - well done girl and she won it too despite being the youngest competitor and the dipstick on the mike trying to take it away from her.

    Thumbs up

I think 2 from the other 3 girls were dubs so wasn't surprised they not support local teams.

Fair dues to the 14 year Cork girl as more often than not its easier to say you support a foreign team. I think she won as wasn't used to grounds with a crowd as opposed to watching matches on tv like the others. Keeper didn't have a chance at those penalties.

Her favourite irish player was Duff. She wasn't asked club player.

I think at this stage Cork sports people will be excluded from compteitions as we winning everything.

    And any competition involving spelling.

Some very good penos alright. Yer man on the mike was a complete spanner though, it was funny when everyone started booing him when he got it arseways!!
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

That post was painful. Perhaps she liked Duff because she was at... an...... Ireland....... match?

I hope the tool with the mic wasn't getting paid for that appearance!
How hard can it be to keep count of a couple of penalties!

Childish dig against the dubs there.

Pretty much reflected Irish soccer supporters in general: Man U, Liverpool and an Eircom league team. I'd say if you had a competition to see whom the 4 girls would support you could almost have bet your shirt on the outcome with a small swing either way between Man U and Liverpool.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

Yeah but I bet all 4 of them had Celtic as their 2nd team

Contestant 4 probably is the only one who a) goes to football matches regularly and b) possibly even plays the game. Well Done City Fan!
