And fully deserved too. Obvious choice for me anyway.
Shay Given has been named the eircom/FAI Senior International Player of the Year.
Kevin Doyle, was named as U21 Player of the Year .
Joey O'Brien was named as U19 Player of the Year while Anthony Stokes took the U17 award. Nordic Cup hero Donal McDermott took the honours at U16s.

No other player came close in my view. He should be a candidate for Premiership player of the year too. Consistently excellent.
The most foregone conclsuion of all time probably - thoroughly deserved.
He also made it clear that he has been told he won't be captain. Stan wants an outfield player. I'd say it might be the Honey Monster.
Well derserved. Anyone have a list of the previous winners handy?
Good selection, all deserved especially Given, would'nt swap him for anyone.
George O Callaghan was eircom league man methinks : >
j'accuse!
Congratulations Shay, the only player who I remember clapping the crowd at the end of the Swiss game. A brilliant keeper and seemingly a lovely bloke as well, fair play.
given definatly deserved it
Recorded the programme and watched uit last night.
Anyone think it was a fast paced, slick and snappy affair and there was little in the way of silly talk and BS. Throw in a bit of the interactive ie. that trip to Germany and make the TV viewers involved.
Having Sharon Shannon and Mundy was a cool idea too.
a fine list of players, maybe we are not that badly off after all.
