Ankle injury according to Eurosport. The ankle isn't as much of a ligament minefield as the knee, so that's something, and he looked fairly comfortable as he was stretchered off. Seemed more fed up than in any great pain.
Been getting good reviews alright, with the aside that he tends to be a bit erratic form-wise. They signed a former Spanish international midfielder at the start of the season (this fella) - don't think he's gotten a start yet as he's building up match-fitness, but could be tough for Dicker to get back into the team if yer man comes in and does well.

Broken fibula. Probably out for 12-14 weeks.![]()
That's a relief - could have been a lot worse.
Suppose that's one way of looking at it...
Wonder will he log on here again in the meantime?![]()
Update:
"Gary Dicker and Marcos Painter both returned to match action this afternoon in a behind-closed-doors friendly win at Spurs.
The duo came through the first 45 minutes unscathed before being replaced at the interval; Dicker was making his first appearance since breaking his leg against West Ham in October, while Painter was returning from a hamstring injury."
Playing very well in the live cup game v Newcastle at the moment.
Saw him yesterday, not bad. An unspectacular, steady Championship player...
Released by Brighton, disappointingly.
Dicker, Docker. Its hardly his fault they didn't get promoted.
I'm a bloke,I'm an ocker
And I really love your knockers,I'm a labourer by day,
I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,
Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
Good to see Dicker can remain in The Championship. The greening of Ipswich may continue!

Not a word on Dicker in the last few weeks. Doesn't seem to have signed with anyone yet, and the new English season is just around the corner.
Anyone heard anything on him?
on trial with Milwall at the moment: http://www.newsatden.co.uk/24647-bai...ndly-loss.html
Now on trial with Barnsley along with Paddy McCourt.
Really surprising that he's still clubless at this stage.
signed for Rochdale on an initial 5 month deal: http://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/ar...s-1051024.aspx
Big step down for him.
Mad. Has he injury problems from Brighton? Thought the broken leg had healed ok; he played a few games after that.
Playing very well for Dale at the moment. Too good for League Two.
Also starring is a Blackburn loanee, Jack O'Connell, an England youth cap.
But with a name like that....
C'mon Jack, do the right thing!

Dicker's star has fallen big time in recent weeks with Rochdale - he's out of favour and not popoular with the fans and it wouldn't be a surprise if he gets released in the transfer window.
He was integral in Poyet's Brighton side that won promotion to the Championship. He's had a couple of lengthy injury lay offs since then. He mustn't have recovered fully.
Gary Deegan is another player whose star has fallen drastically, again partly due to injury problems.
